You’re always taking the stupid risks. Grow the fuck up already.
“The Druze strictly avoid iconography but use five colors as a religious symbol: green, red, yellow, blue, and white. Each color pertains to a metaphysical power called Haad, literally meaning a limit, as in the limits that separate humans from animals, or the powers that makes the animal body human. Each Haad is color coded in the following manner: green for Aql “the Universal Mind/Nous”, red for Nafs “the Universal Soul/Anima mundi”, yellow for Kalima “the Word/Logos”, blue for Sabiq “the Potentiality/Cause/Precedent”, and white for Tali “the Future/Effect/Immanence”. The mind generates qualia and gives consciousness. The soul embodies the mind and is responsible for transmigration and the character of oneself. The word which is the atom of language communicates qualia between humans and represent the platonic forms in the sensible world. The Sabq and Tali is the ability to perceive and learn from the past and plan for the future and predict it.
The colors can be arranged in a vertically descending stripes or a five-pointed star. The stripes is a diagrammatic cut of the spheres in neoplatonic philosophy while the five pointed star embodies the golden ratio, phi, as a symbol of temperance and a life of moderation.”
So people have been asking about why Loki is seen wearing a kind of muzzle in this last scene. Well you Sons of Coul, sit down and let me explain:
In the Nordic mythology (or what tumblr users would probably prefer to call “the acient canon” or something alike) one of Loki’s punishments for behaving badly was to have his lips sewn together.
Now, because the audience would most likely not appreciate seeing Thor sewing Loki in the mouth - Marvel introduced this very unexpected muzzle.
Well, thank Marvel for not always keeping to the acient canon… for example no one would want to see Loki being impregnated by Odins horse.Or see him paired with his lovely wife who shielded him from a snakes dripping poison while he was chained to the earth, never leaving his side except for when she had to empty the bowl that the poison was dripping into.
May I also add his lips were sewn together because he had cut off Sif’s hair, which made Thor really angry since his wife became really sad and depressed.
I keep finding out more and more about Marvel’s interpretation of the myths, and it always impresses me.
I love mythology and take it very seriously.
4 for you Marvel, you go Marvel.
Odin’s horse is actually Loki child. Loki was impregnated by a stonesmith giant’s horse in order to keep him from finishing his job and marrying Freya.
